The Registry recruits donor of age 18-35, the donors retire at the age of 60. The recruitment strategy is focused on young males. The Annual recruitment since 2011 is approximately 4000-5000 donors with its peak in 2015 when the registry recruited nearly 10000 donors.
Since 2015 all newly recruited donors are completely „high resulution“ typed for all 6 loci (A-B-C-DR-DQ-DP).
